Mix is better..... vocals are setting much better in the mix. Lyrics are clearer. Still not really the rage and angst at the end I was hoping for but it is better.....

You've developed a very distinctive style which is always a bonus - it means you will stand out from the crowd. Clear vocals - I can hear all the lyrics. Love that melody - very dark and dramatic. Some nice light and shade in the arrangement - very well written, I like the guitar part. You've got a very special track here :wink Thumbs Up

What a great mix of sounds and melodies..
I like some of the odd directions that the chords wander. Some very neat ideas going on here.
You got a superb voice as well, and you know how to use it. Sounds great.
Lot of time and effort gone into this and it's certainly paid off.
Excellent song. :) (Smile)

I can't believe I didn't leave a comment on the Album version of this awesome song until now.

The lyrics really do hit home even better on this version. The mix is just fantastic Saint. I am cranking this up and its up there with CD quality alternative excellence.

The feelings you express that touch on Suicide are confronting and meaningful. The pain you express in this is just an awesome example of you putting it out there and making music above the norm.

Your voice really suits this style of music. It's great to hear an artist who knows what he's brilliant at so he can make a style all his own. I mean that in that if you were to play 20 different tracks from the same sort of genre to someone who had heard you once, they would be able to pick yours out.
Album quality production. If I heard this on the radio I would buy the album off the back of it the same day.

It sounds great, great use of space, sounds full even in the sparser moments, great blend of synth and guitars. Kick drum is always hard to get right in the mix and it sounds great hear. The vocals are fine for this style of dark rock, the overdriven guitars also are placed nicely in the mix. My one objective comment is that the snare sounds a little generic but it does not detract from the quality at all (a more synthetic drum with a longer release like a 909 snare may even have been a good choice)

If you get time, I'd be interested to know what gear was used to record and master this, you can note me if you get a spare second.

I really like this song and mix A LOT !
